Mottershed, and are to be sold by John Browneat the guilded Acorn, neer the little north-doore in Pauls Church-yard1652A lovely small folio volume, bound in full contemporary speckled calf and gilt, and measures approx 26.8cm x 19.3cm x 3.5cm. The extremities are lightly surface worn, rubbed and bumped. The front hinge is superficially cracking, and a little worn, although board remains firm. The spine covering is worn and the top edge a little worn. Internally, the endpapers are lightly foxed and browned, with an ink shelf reference to the top corner of the front pastedown. The frontispiece and title page are lightly foxed and browned, and the reverse of the frontispiece is a bit surface grubby. The contents are foxed and browned/toned throughout, in varying degrees. One leaf has a large tear (actually on a bound-in paper fault). There are scattered rust spots and a couple of little holes. There are a few scattered ink smudges or marks. Some light toning in places throughout. The last leaf of text is lacking. Else, in reasonable condition throughout.[24], 214, 257-301, [3], 154 p.
