Artificial Flies by L Vernon Bates (Third Printing 1962, How to Catch Them)

The item that you are viewing corresponds to the book ‘Artificial Flies’ by L. Vernon Bates published as part of the highly collectable ‘How to Catch them’ series. The book is a third printing published in 1962 by Herbert Jenkins Limited.

The book is being offered for sale in a good condition for its age. The book comes with its original price-clipped dustwrapper, which has the usual rub, shelf-wear and nibbling associated with its periphery/edges. The dustwrapper now comes protected by a clear cellophane outer cover. The book’s light blue boards are in an overall good clean and bright condition. The top and the bottom of the spine are a little bumped and faded. Internally the book’s pages remain clean and undamaged, with just the occasional fox spot towards their periphery. This book comes from a non-smoking and pet-free household.
