Spoons, Spinners and Plugs - L Vernon Bates (FIRST EDITION 1960)

The item that you are viewing corresponds to the book ‘Spoons, Spinners and Plugs’ by L. Vernon Bates published as part of the highly collectable ‘How to Catch them’ series. The book is a first edition published in 1960 by Herbert Jenkins Limited.

The book is being offered for sale in a good condition for its age. The book comes with its original price-clipped dustwrapper, which has the usual rub, shelf-wear and nibbling associated with its periphery/edges. This includes a small tear associated with its front bottom edge. The dustwrapper now comes protected by a clear cellophane outer cover. The book’s light blue boards are in an overall good clean and undamaged condition. Specifically, there is some sun fade to both boards bottom edge. Internally the book’s pages remain largely clean and crisp throughout. Please study my accompanying images for more details of this book and its dustwrapper.
