Trout W A Adamson (Sixth Impression 1967; How to Catch Them series)

The item that you are viewing corresponds to the book ‘Trout’ by W. A. Adamson published as part of the highly collectable ‘How to Catch them’ series. The book is a sixth impression published in 1967 by Herbert Jenkins Limited.

The book is being offered for sale in a good condition for its age. The book comes with a full colour reproduction price-clipped dustwrapper, photocopied from an identical book that I have in my own personal collection. The original source dustwrapper has the usual (limited) rub, shelf-wear and nibbling associated with its periphery/edges. The reproduction dustwrapper now comes protected by a clear cellophane outer cover. Externally, the book’s light blue boards are in an overall good condition with only minor shelf-wear and rub. The top and bottom extremities of the spine are a little bumped and rubbed. The spine has some strong sun bleaching associated with it. The front board’s external surface has a white mark situated towards its top (non-spine) corner. Internally, the book’s pages remain mostly clean and undamaged. Specifically, there is some foxing associated with the first six pages, plus some more spotting on the book’s pages outward facing edges.
