Tench - Harry Brotherton (Third printing 1961; How to Catch Them series)

The item that you are viewing corresponds to the book ‘Tench’ by Harry Brotherton published as part of the highly collectable ‘How to Catch them’ series. The book is a third printing published in 1961 by Herbert Jenkins Limited.

The book is being offered for sale in an OK condition for its age. The book comes with its original price-clipped dustwrapper, which has the usual rub, shelf-wear and nibbling associated with its periphery/edges. The rear of the dustwrapper has been reinforced at multiple points with some now yellowed tape. The dustwrapper now comes protected by a clear cellophane outer cover. The book’s light blue boards are in an overall good clean condition with some very minor bumping and rub to the upper and lower extremities of the spine. Notably, the spine and board periphery, suffer from some strong sun-fade. Internally the book’s pages remain mostly clean and crisp. The external facing edges of the book’s pages has some fox spotting associated with them. Please study my accompanying images for more details of this book and its dustwrapper.
