Kim grew up in the magical island state of Tasmania, Australia and has been weaving tales of fantasy since the age of ten. Gaining a Bachelor of Arts through the University of New South Wales, Kim pursued a career in the Royal Australia Navy for 12 years until the ugly head of Lupus reared its head and Kim was medically retired. The Black Fire Chronicles is a series of action adventure / fantasy books for kids both young and old. Kim currently lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband and two fur children.
