Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum Cookbook * Published by The Friends of the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum.  146 pages plus index of recipes.  Published in 1997, this has a spiral binding with colorful glossy cover in very good condition.  Please see all of the pictures as they are part of the description.  Signed and inscribed at the "appreciation" section by the artist.The museum is located in Alexandria, VA.  From the Introduction:  "...the oldest continuously operated, family-managed Apothecary Shop.  Opened in 1792 by Edward Stabler, a young Quaker pharmacist, in a rented three-story brick building on Fairfax Street in Alexandria, Virginia, it was in business until the Great Depression forced it's closing in 1933".  It was reopened as a museum in 1939.  Included with the cookbook is a newspaper article about the Apothecary from The Gazette Packet, dated January 29, 1998.Thank you for considering my listing.
