This is your chance to own a rare first edition hardcover/hardback (HC/HB) book with dustjacket (DJ) written by one of the grand masters of science fiction.  It was published by Putnam and would be a great addition to any sci fi fan's collection.  This book comes up for auction only occasionally.    The book is bound in black cloth covered boards with intact gold writing.  There is no statement of impression on the copyright page, and it has a Library of Congress card catalog number as is required for all Putnam firsts of that era.  There is some spots on the front and rear boards as well as some tape ghosting.  There are a couple of library stamps and markings but no evidence of a card pocket.  The book is tight and square with only the slightest of bumps to the corners.  Overall, I would rate this book as G to G+.  The dustjacket is the true first edition jacket.  It has an unclipped price of 7.95 and the date code 7306.  It has been protected in a wrapper and there are no faults to the jacket that I can see (there are some tape ghosts that are on the wrapper only not the jacket.  Overall, I would rate the dj as VG+.   This book will ship via Priority Mail envelope from USPS for a flat fee of $9.00.  If you would like this shipped in a flat rate box, the price will be $13.00.  The book is being offered at a low price and I will consider reasonable best offers.  Here is your chance to own a rare first edition from one of the grand masters of science fiction for your own collection.  Good Luck and Happy Ebay!!
