Along with eBay's usual protections and policies, and without supplanting any of the rights due to customers under Australian Consumer Law (http://consumerlaw.gov.au/consumers-and-acl) I offer the following additions:

If, for any reason, you are unable to continue with a purchase after winning an auction, please contact me before the book is shipped and I will refund the purchase price in full.

If a book you purchase is lost, stolen or destroyed during shipping, something I regard as a no-harm, no-foul situation, I will refund your payment fully including all postage costs. Obviously, I will require some kind of proof of said event - or at the least a really entertaining story.

If, for any reason, a book you purchase is unable to be shipped, I will refund your payment including any shipping costs, and purchase and deliver a replacement copy as soon as possible, fully at my cost.

If you are genuinely disappointed with the quality of any book, particularly if you find a flaw that I have missed during my inspections (I'm good, but nobody's prefect...), return the book to me with an outline of the offending flaws and I will refund the purchase price in full, including all shipping costs.

These policies are designed to protect my customers - undoubtedly, they will evolve as I continue to trade. In the event of any dispute not covered by law or stated eBay policy, I will endeavour to resolve the situation to everyone's satisfaction. However, in the event of a dispute I will be the final arbitrator.
