It was through Art First's links with South Africa that Barbara Rae made two working trips to the Western Cape. The fruitful outcome of these visits was triumphantly displayed in this exhibition and recorded in this catalogue. The book contains an introduction by Bill Hare, of Edinburgh University College of Art, a biography of the artist and 8 full page colour plates. The item comes with a free postcard showing Barbara Rae's mixed media on board work, 'Farm near Castel Fiorentino.'The book is in very good condition but for a little soiling to the card covers and light wear to the edges & corners.
