[although] the copulation of frogs is notorious to everybody' (page 61)The fold-out facsimile page of White's journal is in excellent condition.Boards: some shelf wear; the front board has some white leather showing through the blue.Spine: faded and worn, but the ridges are well-defined despite some wear.Page edges: gilt is bright and clean top and bottom; some spotting on the fore edge.Pages: some foxing to frontispiece; foxing on occasional pages; barely tanned throughout.Overall: GOOD
