Miniature Book – Bijou History of England – 1 Vol Only 1845

A lovely rare early miniature volume The Bijou History of England, published by Rock & Co. It is undated, but believe it dates to around 1845. Originally this was sold as a 2 volume set, unfortunately only one volume remains, though included is part of the cover of the other volume. The book is offered with its original leather binding. The book is very small at 4.5cm x 3.5cm.

Condition

The condition is fair. Though the cover is present, it is detached. There is an old tape repair to the internal spine of the book. There is a previous owner inscription to the front end paper. There is some toning and surface dirt to the pages.
