Author Biography
Margaret Peggie Nasin resides in Lantana, Florida where she has lived since childhood. Peggie enjoys swimming, snorkeling, fishing and sailing in the beautiful waters of South Florida and the Bahama Islands. In 1974 Peggie began her career in early childhood education specializing in teaching preschool. Aftrer years of teaching she became the director of a local church preschool. Peggie is also a swim instructor and has taught children in the pool and in the classroom for over forty years. Peggie retired from her director's position in 2014 and began her dream of writing children's books. This book combines her love of working with young children and teaching children to swim. The importance of children learning to swim is a cause that is near and dear to her heart and Peggie hopes that children will see swimming lessons as a fun adventure through the eyes of Little Pig. Pigs really can swim! While sailing in the Bahamas, Peggie got the chance to swim with pigs. That story is another Little Pig adventure.
