Life Processes by William L. Staley First Edition Book 1934 signed + one book

This hard copy first edition 1934 book was the postcursor of Charles Darwin's  Origin of Species!!!  The book is entitled Life Processes and is about the evolution of man from cells through fish through apes to humans.  This was blasphemy in 1934 when it was written!!!  Religions taught that God Created man in his image and likeness!  And here was a book saying man evolved through apes!  This book was my Father's fathers.  It was given to him by the Author William L Staley and was signed to him:  William A Kiney.  It was given in 1935.  My Grandfather died long before I was born and when my father was quite young.  This book was handed down to my father, who has also passed on, and became the possession of my mother's, who now wants to sell it.My father grew up Roman Catholic.  In 1955, he took this book to the local priest on his parish ( in Trenton NJ) and the parish priest sought the cancel of the Bishop.    The Bishop basically banned the book, saying it was a "forbidden book" , but " his Excellency" permitted my father to keep the book but is was "NOT TO BE READ" and kept in a safe place so that no one would have the opportunity to read it".    This is all documented in the front cover of this first edition book!  This book is being offered with an accompanying book, a paper back of the Origin of Species by Charles Darwin  copywrite 1958 which is also the first printing on this book by Mentor Books.  The original Darwin book was printed in 1859. Unfortunately more and more bidders are deciding NOT to pay for an item once they bid on and win it. I have a zero tolerance for this kind of activity on eBay and it will result in a non-paying bidder case being opened with eBay. Due to this rapidly growing problem payment is now due within 3 days of an auction ending.
