Blank endpapers. Very good. The extremities are gently bumped and rubbed, and the spine is just a tiny bit rolled back. The text block is just a bit fragile in a couple of places. Bienvenue p. 112. With Pictures by Frank Verbeck, including 8 full-color inserts. A book previously published in 1900 as A New Wonderland, and the first full-length fantasy by L. Frank Baum for children. The book was actually written by Baum prior to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and introduced some ideas and characters that he would eventually rework in future books.
