This is the original, long version of Campbell's classic "Who Goes There?" which has been thrice filmed as THE THING. It is about 15,000 words longer. It was originally written for ARGOSY, presumably to be serialized, but trimmed down for its appearance in ASTOUNDING. An interesting, alternate version of one of the most famous science fiction horror stories of all time.
