Author Biography
S. Kent Butler holds a Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Connecticut. He is interim chief equity, inclusion, and diversity officer and a professor of counselor education at the University of Central Florida. In July 2020, he became President-Elect of the American Counseling Association.Anna Flores Locke holds a Ph.D. in counseling from Montclair State University. She is an assistant professor in mental health counseling at Nyack College, owner of Charlandra Counseling Services, and past president of Counselors for Social Justice.Joel M. Filmore holds an Ed.D. in counselor education and supervision from Northern Illinois University. He is a licensed clinical professional counselor and works for Seton Hall University in New Jersey and as a senior staff-clinical supervisor for IntraSpectrum Counseling in Illinois.
