This book is a companion novel to Celtic Fairy Tales & English Fairy Tales from Joseph Jacobs

In GOOD reading condition, considering it's age (see pictures please). Frayed spine tips and bent corners to cover with red ochre toned, stamped canvas pictorial board covers in black line illustration. Decorative spine with black lettering is legible but soiled. Binding in tact. Leaves flip nicely with slight discoloration from age. Stained leaf tips. No marked, torn, creased or missing leaves. Free of Odors. Illustrations throughout.

This book has that sad look to it of something well-loved and then forgotten like the velveteen rabbit. I imagine it took a trip to the other side of the world and then journied home again in the arms of a fairy. It's the oldest and well worn books which bring me to most happiness. I enjoy that this rough and tumble copy can be enjoyed without too much worry over hurting it. Though it is shabby, it's also quite durable and strong. A diamond in the rough.
