Long Description
Human Resource Management, Innovation and Performance sheds new light on the antecedents and enablers of innovation, with specific reference to people and the way in which they are managed. Taking a multi-level perspective the book reflects critically on high performance work systems, organizational design options, cross-boundary working, leadership styles and learning at work. We step out of the HRM comfort zone by bringing together scholars across disciplinary boundaries to explore constructs usually not found in the human resource literature such as tolerance for risk, job autonomy, employee proactivity, creativity training, informal learning, psychological commitment, cross-boundary working, self-determination and many more.
