Author Biography

This book is written from my own experience of the loss of my only child, Victoria. Everyone's experience may be different. The journey for survivors of suicide victims is a long and often brutal one that affects one's life forever. The suggestions I offer here are purely my own. My heart and empathy go out to all that have had to travel this path.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helpful for any parent that has lost a childMy son died on 1/3/21, not from suicide, but a relapse and unknowingly became a victim of fentanyl poisoning. Cindy nailed the grieving process.... hit every emotion...the regrets, guilt, doubts, "what if". Even though our children had different causes of death, I experienced all of the feelings that were so poignantly and well described. I read this in less than 2 hrs, right after it was delivered, btw. Difficult to put down once it's started.
