Fairy Tales by Hans Andersen – Arthur Rackham – 1st Edition 1932

First edition copy of Fairy Tales by Hans Andersen and illustrated by Arthur Rackham. As expected in a Rackham book it is profusely illustrated with beautiful colour and black and while illustrations by Arthur Rackham, each of the colour illustrations has an annotated tissue guard.

The book was published by George Harrap London in 1932 and is offered in its original decorated brick red cloth boards.

Condition

The condition is very good. This is a very lightly read copy with a couple of small condition points. The boards have a couple of small scuff marks and some very light wear around the edges. There is a previous owner inscription most of which is in pencil, that can be rubbed out.

Very minor shelf wear to the top and bottom of spine.
