Decatur, MI Michigan Centennial History Book, 1948, Old Photos, Genealogy

This auction is for a book titled Welcome to Decatur, 1848 Centennial 1948. It is a typical centennial book with lots of great historical information about Decatur. Topics include, "Historical, The Pioneering Railroad, Michigan Central Park, Early Swamp Roads, Out Charleston Way, Ye Olde Time Taverns, At the Close of the Civil War, Freight-Grain-Livestock, Post Office, Banking, Public Schools," and more. Lots of historical photos and information about the early citizens of Decatur.

Softcover, spiral bound, about 8 by 10 3/4 inches, 64 pages. The scan of the cover looks white but it is really tan, my scanner is possessed. Good condition. Any shadows on the scans were created by my scanner and my reluctance to mash the book flat and possibly damage the spine.  Buyer to pay $4.00 P&H please. (Sorry, I had to raise shipping after latest postage increase). Sorry, I will not ship this book outside the U.S. due to excessive postage rates. I'm listing volumes of The Missouri Archaeologist  and will combine shipping if a bidder buys more than one item.
