Feinberg's Walt Whitman collection now resides in the Library of Congress.The author's first novel, taking its place next to Henry Roth's "Call It Sleep," published the same year, as a classic of Jewish-American life in New York during the Great Depression. Fuchs would go on to write two more novels in the same vein, today generally thought of as a trilogy collectively called "The Brooklyn Novels" or "The Williamsburg Trilogy."Near Fine in a Very Good dust jacket.
