Offered here is this hard cover eighth printing of Daniel Boone, The Opening of the Wilderness, by John Mason Brown. The book is in good condition but does have wear at the corners and edges. The paper dust jacket is intact, but also has a lot of wear at the corners and edges and is tearing in these areas. The book has a copyright date of 1952, is an eighth printing, and was published by Random House. The spine and binding are holding well, and all 181+ pages including index are intact and in good condition but are beginning to yellow from age. The book is 8.5” long, 5.75” wide, and 1” thick. This is a nice classic children’s book, and very entertaining…There was always something that kept Daniel Boone on the move. First it was the French and Indian War. Then it was the Warrior’s Path into the wilderness beyond the secret door in the mountains.
