Civil War 12 Book Lot 1st Editions with Dust Jackets HCDJ Review Copies

This lot consists of twelve hardcover books about the American Civil War (1861-1865). Most of them are first editions, sent out by the publishers in the early 1960s as review copies. "By Antietam Creek," Don Robertson, 1960, 268 pages, Prentice-Hall, very goodIn general the books from the early 1960s, sent as review copies, appear to be unread, but the dust jackets may have one or more of these various flaws: sunned spine, small tears, rubbing, light soiling. "Appomattox" has a small handwritten note stating the publication date on the third page - the other books are unmarked.
