Vintage Hardcover 1988 First Edition Appointment in Venice by Alex Gotfryd SIGNED and inscribed to Pucky (Ellen Violett) and Tommy (Mary Thomas) with date.  Pucky and Tommy were good friends of Alex's who unfortunately passed in 1991 only a few yrs after finishing this book.  Alex was vey well-known in literary world and designed hundreds of book covers and jackets including Jaws and Carrie.  Ellen Violett was a successful writer and Mary Thomas an artist please look them up.  Ellen Violett's stepfather was also Nelson Doubleday Sr. of the same publishing company who Alex worked for so they had that connection too.  You only find this type of inside info here because we do our homework!  Unpaginated with dust jacket includes 42 plates or images.  Condition is good dust jacket has wear small tears along edges and scuffs.  Spine tight and pages clean.  This ships out fast and FREE!  Contact us any questions we try our best and thanks for supporting our tiny biz.
