SYNOPSIS ....
The life of a dreamy butterfly in the Australian forest. The last of her kind, a newly born butterfly meets and befriends many other creatures in the Australian forest, and when it is time for her to go the Voice of the Forest ensures her living among them always by turning her into a butterfly orchid.
Aldita is a butterfly recently emerged from the pupa case. The butterfly explores the forest meeting the creatures and learning about the environment. The story is a plea for careful management and conservation of the environment.
A lovely children's picture story about a very special butterfly. This is a beautiful book written and illustrated with a message of how important it is to care for our natural heritage. The large colourful drawings and easy-to-read text will interest any age. This is a children's picture book about a koala in Morwell National Park, Gippsland, Victoria (Australia). Watercolour illustrations of the surrounding fauna and flora by Derrick Stone.
