3) Giovanni "Gianni" Rodari (Джанни Родари)was an Italian writer and journalist, most famous for his children's books, notably "Il romanzo di Cipollino"
Probably everyone in Russia loves Gianni Rodari - both children and adults. They love him for his cheerfulness and inexhaustible imagination, for funny humor. Appreciated for respect for the hands of honest workers and for hostility to the rich fellow women. He perfectly knew what the smells of various professions were, what the tears of poor children were worth. Without hiding that there are so many injustices in the world — in a world where money reigns — Rodari believed in the triumph of love and goodness and carried his readers with this faith.
